Pick a KARD, Any KARD

After watching KARD perform in London last week on their incredible Playground tour, I wanted to share some of my favorite KARD B-Sides with you. From slow and sensual, to tropical and more, KARD have an impressive catalog of music that caters to every music lover's taste, so give them a listen and find yourself joining the Hidden Kard fandom with these songs.

"Break Down"

My favorite track from KARD's 2022 mini album Re. and maybe my all-time favorite KARD track, "Break Down," showcases each of the members' impressive vocal range, ability, and deliverance in ways that no other KARD track has done. With lyrics penned by all four members, "Break Down" is a song performed in a slow and sexy, rock-pop style that is less rap-focused compared to other KARD tracks, showing KARD, particularly J.Seph and B.M, to be excellent at switching up their vocal positions.

"Dímelo"

Channeling summer vibes through its tropical sound, "Dímelo" is the fifth single from KARD's third mini-album Ride On The Wind that fuses together a melodic mix of Korean and Spanish styles. The track carries a warm and ear-pleasing sound, perfect to listen to when wanting to get into a vacation feel, offering a splendid taste of one style of music KARD are exceptional at making.

"Fxxk you"

The explicitly titled "Fxxk you" is the irresistible B-Side from KARD's most recent album ICKY, performed by one of KARD's two units: Somin and Jiwoo. Fiercely influenced by Latin-Pop sounds, "Fxxk you" describes a love-hate relationship expressed through sensual vocal flows and an addictive beat. Although known for their explicitness in music, "Fxxk you" presents KARD (or the women of KARD) in a new light that differs from the other tracks in the group’s discography.
