  3. “A World Without Pain

“Karma” and “Cat & Mouse” - English Versions

BLACKSWAN has released the pop edition of their EP That Karma and it’s really fun. During the first EP, they released the music video for the song “Karma” which shows India’s beautiful scenery. The way they were able to embrace India’s beautiful culture and highlight it really touched my heart and many viewers. The song is so impactful as well. It’s upbeat, and the dance is so addictive. I find myself throughout the day singing this song and dancing along.

The second song is titled “Cat & Mouse” and is on the same original EP as “Karma.” The music video was recently released and it has Alice in Wonderland vibes. It’s very whimsical, and colorful. This high-energy, cute song was a complete turn from “Karma.” Even the choreography intensity level changed. The movements mimicking the gestures of animals literally made me say, “Aw.” The overall vibe of the song is adorable compared to the strong, impactful feeling I get from “Karma.” I love that they gave us two different songs on two different spectrums. The overall sound of the song and the music videos told different stories. It showed the girls’ versatility and it’s a great sight.

“A World Without Pain”

It’s a ballad! Hearing them harmonize like that literally made me close my eyes and just vibe to the music. This song is really good and brought tears to my eyes. Earlier I talked about how the difference between “Karma” and “Cat & Mouse” showed the versatility of the members and that was before I heard this song, and now that I have listened to it, I think this song truly shows their versatility. The switch-up from the previous songs made my head spin in a good way. It’s a really good song and it is honestly my favorite off the EP.

This single release is really good. Hearing that they were going to have a comeback, many of us got super excited to hear from them again. As listeners and viewers, we love to watch the growth of BLACKSWAN, and we can’t wait to see everything that they are going to accomplish in the future.
