Throwback Thursday: STUDIO CHOOM Edtion Part 2

In the first part of this series, we only grazed the videos we get to see on the STUDIO CHOOM channel. There are so many videos of groups giving us a performance we will never forget, and today we are going to continue the list and talk about our favorite STUDIO CHOOM videos.

Stray Kids - “神메뉴 (God’s Menu)”

On June 21, 2020, JYP Entertainment boy group Stray Kids appeared on the STUDIO CHOOM channel to promote their hit song, “神메뉴 (God’s Menu).” This striking song shows the powerful dancing, rapping, and vocal skills of Stray Kids. The members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N., are seen in black, white, and gold outfits that mimic a chef's uniform. The dance is hard-hitting and their skillful movements, in sync kicks, and hand placements create an articulate dance that many love to cover. The color-changing background will have you mesmerized and make for a video you will want to watch multiple times.

GFRIEND - “MAGO”

On November 12, 2020, former Source Music girl group GFRIEND made their last appearance on the STUDIO CHOOM channel to promote their track, “MAGO.” This retro-inspired track is as beautiful as it sounds. The members Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji are seen wearing emerald green, gold, silver, and black outfits that glisten in the light. The members of GFRIEND are known to be amazing vocalists and dancers, and in this video, both are on full display. Watching the members dance while the lights change color in the background accentuates the colors of the outfits and creates a sophisticated aura that matches the concept of the song. It’s a groovy song that will have you singing along.

TXT (Tomorrow x Together) - “Puma”

On June 5, 2020, Big Hit Entertainment/HYBE boy group TXT (Tomorrow x Together) appeared on the channel to promote their track, “PUMA.” “PUMA” is a powerful track that grabs your attention from first listen. In the video, you can see the members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai, wearing black and white leather clothing. The aggressiveness of the “PUMA” is shown in the choreography. Each move is hit with power and is exaggerated to create a storyline, such as the hand movements that mimic claws. It’s a creative dance and hype song, and watching the video will only excite you more.
