TWICE Is Back With an Upbeat Dance-Pop EP, With YOU-th
With the release of their hit album, READY TO BE, and their tour, TWICE has been on a roll. TWICE is a nine-member girl group under JYP Entertainment. Since 2015, these girls have released banger after banger. Their EP With YOU-th-EP consists of six upbeat songs that make you want to dance.

Throughout the years, we can see the connection that TWICE has. They are close and have grown together as the years have passed. “I GOT YOU,” a pre-release, shows the bond the girls have. This English track talks about how even when they are going through something, they still have each other. The video shows the members' attachment to one another, and the song will bring a tear to your eyes. With lyrics like, “No drop of doubts, I know deep down that we’ll make it through, just like we always do,” and, “ Ain’t no limit to what I would do for you,” you can feel the love and appreciation they have for one another.
“ONE SPARK” is the title track for this EP. This upbeat track incorporates a dreamy melody and an electronic bass beat. The beat sounds like a song from a game. It’s electric and joyful and showcases TWICE’s bright energetic personalities. You can’t help but dance along to the beat. The video is striking, and the color coordination is satisfying. The background has little to no design, and that adds an extra pop to the dance sequences. It’s a fun title track that many will be signing for a while.

“RUSH,” “NEW NEW,” “BLOOM,” and “YOU GET ME” are what many would describe as bubblegum pop. Hearing these songs, bright colors of pink, sky blue, yellow, and silver pop into your head. Every song is upbeat and carries such a graceful melody. An added bonus to this already joyful EP is that the members took part in the writing process for some of the songs:“RUSH” is written by member Chaeyoung. “BLOOM” is written by member Jeongyeon, and “YOU GET ME” is written by member Dahyun. It is a joy to see the members take part in this, and it is a joy to listen to each song as well.
With this being their thirteenth mini-album, TWICE has given us something new but is still true to their sound. This bubblegum pop EP is cheerful, bright, lively, and entertaining. There is a song for everyone on this EP. So, check out With YOU-th-EP and see which song is your favorite.
