[Press Release] Amber Says She Will “Ask The Stupid Questions”

On October 29, Amber Liu is launching her show I’ll Ask The Stupid Questions on the app Ficto. The show focuses on those questions you won’t ask out of fear of looking (and feeling) stupid.

When asked about the show, Amber said, “Growing up I always felt like Curious George. I had so many questions about every little thing. As I’ve grown older, I realized that I’ve become afraid of looking clueless and dumb. I feel like that fear has stunted my personal growth and I’ve had many conversations with people who’ve felt the same way. I’ll Ask The Stupid Questions is me trying to learn how to be curious again. I want to normalize learning and that it’s okay to ask stupid questions because you can get some really smart answers.”

The first episode covers a very important topic, especially for those in the United States. Amber sits down with Los Angeles Congressman Jimmy Gomez as well as other political policy experts. They chat about voting, the electoral process, why some people don’t vote, and why it is important you do vote.

Whether it’s American politics, skateboarding, or even mental health, join Amber each week as she takes a big step towards getting answers to all those burning questions and see as she learns how to skateboard with pro-skateboarder Jagger Eaton and finds out how we can support those experiencing homelessness with Amy Turk of the LA Downtown Women's Center,  giving viewers a more intimate glimpse into Amber’s life.
