Email Marketing Specialist

Job Description

The Email Marketing Specialist is in charge of all things email. Applicants should be passionate about the Hallyu Wave and have previous experience with email marketing. Candidates should have great communication skills, be able to make and maintain connections with new and existing businesses, and are incredibly passionate about spreading the message of The Kraze. In addition, candidates brainstorm new and fresh ideas for email outreach.

This is a volunteer opportunity. As of now, compensation will not be given.

Major Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the marketing team to devise the new strategies and tactics to expand reach in the realm of email

2. Lead email communication strategy, sequencing, and orchestration

3. Lead email content creation & optimization, quality assurance, and analytics.

4. Lead email production processes and optimize for efficiency.

5. Develop reporting & analytics for email channel, and continually optimize channels.

6. Collaborate with larger marketing team & entire organization on email marketing initiatives.

7. Report to the Social Media Manager and Marketing Director as requested.

Qualifications

1. Ability to work well both individually and in a virtual team environment

2. Reliable and responsive during all needed communications through emails and online chat

3. Familiarity with Mailchimp platform

4. Previous experience in email marketing and how to make it effective

5. Familiarity with HTML/CSS in the email space
