Eric Nam is back after over a year with a new single for fans! Fans have been eagerly awaiting the solo artist’s return, and their wishes have been granted. His single album Hold Me is perfect for this winter season as it invites warmth and love. While there are only two songs on the album, this serves as the perfect gift for fans despite it being past Christmas; it is surely a single you will not be disappointed with. 

“Hold Me”

As the main title for his single album, “Hold Me” is a soothing R&B ballad track that is perfect for snuggling up in a warm pile of blankets and pillows (or for those who have a special someone, snuggling up with that particular person). “Hold Me” is about holding the one you love and asking them to not let go. “Hold Me” is a reminder and a confession of love towards that special person. Regardless of how you identify, this song is perfect for all who have someone special on their mind. The music video features Nam taking center stage as he croons his soft and velvety vocals alongside a live band. The set is dimly lit but accented in all the right places as Nam is highlighted by the warmth of the spotlight, which also showcases the live band playing their respective instruments. “4AM” 

Accompanying his single is track, “4AM” which is another R&B song that will have you grooving along and feeling butterflies in your stomach. Nam once again melts us with his smooth vocals. “4AM” is about being awake in the middle of the night and missing the person whom you have special feelings for. It’s usually late at night when we tend to think of the people we care about; “4AM” is the perfect example of expressing that longing when we are not with that person. This is another solid track from Nam, and although the feelings of longing are portrayed, it still has a quality of warmth, thanks to the soloist’s vocals.

Once again, Eric Nam delivers a solid single album that will surely sweep fans off their feet and have them in their “feels” after listening to it.
