Throwback Thursdays: Summer Commercials!

Throwback Thursdays usually cover music videos and other songs that artists have released. This week, we decided to change things up by throwing it back to some commercials that idols have featured in! (Specifically summer-themed commercials.) Get ready to see some classic commercials and maybe get yourself a refreshment after these particular ads!

BIGBANG & Baskin Robbins

For a time, earlier in their career, BIGBANG endorsed Baskin Robbins. For this particular commercial, it features the BIGBANG members on the beach, casually drinking their nice, refreshing drinks before hilarity ensues. Not going to lie, due to the hot weather, BIGBANG makes this drink really appetizing. There have been other Baskin Robbins commercials that BIGBANG has done, and I highly recommend checking out their commercial for the Christmas-themed ice cream cake.

ASTRO’s Eunwoo and gugudan’s Sejeong for LOTTE Waterpark

One of the best things to do during the summer is either head to the pool or go to the waterpark to cool off. ASTRO’s Eunwoo and gugudan’s Sejeong teamed up together to bring a cute commercial where they both have fun at LOTTE Waterpark. Get ready to squeal and feel all the “feels” when you see the cute, shy interaction between the two idols as they go through several rides that are at the waterpark. (Who wishes they could be in either idol’s place and have fun at the waterpark?) It’s too bad this couple isn’t real because their on-screen chemistry is simply dazzling!

iKON’s Bobby & Sprite

Although this was a rather short commercial compared to the previous ones, Bobby definitely makes you want to grab a bottle of Sprite and feel refreshed with this particular soft drink. The commercial also features actress Kang Sora who is portraying a Sprite lifeguard who runs towards Bobby before splashing into him with the drink. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself salivating for the drink. Also, we cannot deny how great both Bobby and Kang Sora look in this particular commercial either.
