This year, KCON LA, presented by Samsung Galaxy, promises an event bigger than ever with more day stages, programming and content for all fans. KCON’s three-day festival is an event that celebrates Korean culture that includes food, shopping, dancing, workshops and of course, K-Pop fan activities and live performances at the festival itself. Each day culminates with a nights of concerts presented under M!COUNTDOWN, a popular weekly program in South Korea run by CJ ENM’s music channel Mnet

"We are beyond excited to partner with The CW to bring the electrifying M!COUNTDOWN at KCON LA 2024 live to national primetime television," said Harry, H.K. Shin, Head of Music Entertainment, CJ ENM. "This historic broadcast is a testament to the incredible community of K-Pop fans who have made these groups global sensations."

This partnership between The CW and CJ ENM highlights the power of fandom and the role KCON has played in building connections between emerging K-Pop artists and their international fanbase. Over the past decade, KCON has facilitated the global rise of K-Pop, propelling artists to the forefront of the music scene and highlighting the genre’s dynamic quality. If tuning in to the live broadcast on July 28, you’ll be able to see a range of artists from rookies to established K-Pop icons. KCON LA has evolved from a single-day event in Irvine in 2012 to become a global platform celebrating K-Pop and Korean culture. The event series has already visited Hong Kong, Japan, and will soon take place for the first time in Germany on September 28 and 29.
