PREP Collaborates with MONSTA X’s Shownu & Se So Neon’s So!YoON!

London band PREP has collaborated with yet another K-Pop idol! Today they released a special single before their full album, Line By Line, which will drop on November 9. PREP is a London band composed of four talented artists—Llywelyn Ap Myrddin, the co-writer and keyboard player; Guillaume Jambel (also known as GIOM), the drummer; Grammy-nominated Dan Radclyffe; and singer Tom Havelock.

The single “Don’t Look Back” is a jazz R&B track with beautiful instrumentals, matching perfectly with the vocals. The band joined with MONSTA X’s Shownu and Se So Neon’s So!YoON! to release this special track. So!YoON! adds to the song perfectly with his sharp guitar chords, complementing Shownu and Tom’s soothing singing voices. The track seems quite mysterious, as they continue to dig deep down into their jealous feelings of realizing that their lover might be hiding something or someone from them. Tom’s own words on the song sum it up well: “Jealousy. Looking for hidden meanings. The heavy pause after his name gets mentioned.”

Shownu personally reached out to the band himself to collaborate on this new single. Additionally, PREP also had the chance to work with R&B artist, DEAN, on their previous album, Cold Fire, gaining many new fans from all over the world. PREP has headlined shows throughout Asia with massive attendance, and they’ll be performing live in 11 cities after the release of their new album, starting with Shanghai on November 8. They will be touring throughout November, including their first shows in North America. Check out the new single below, and let us know what you think!
