The Rose is finally back with a sentimental song that touches everyone’s hearts. Their second mini-album, Dawn, consists of five songs that portray each member’s musical and singing talents. I absolutely love this comeback because it really relates to many people in this world and provides comfort to those who are lonely and believe that their life is hopeless.

The title track, “She’s In The Rain,” has a soft melody with distinct guitar segments. The song really speaks to those who are weary of the loneliness and hardships that come in life and gives them support to live their life to the fullest. In the music video, rain is the main theme and aspect shown throughout, thus the name of the title track, “She’s In The Rain.” The video goes back and forth from the band playing their instruments in a black-and-white theme to a mini-drama in a colorful setting. This contrast shows that in a dark and colorless world, there will always be light and color at the end of it all. Each member looks back at their past memories and the mini-drama shows that documenting the moments in life will help you grow as a person.

“I Don’t Know You” has a more soft-rock vibe, which is the perfect song for those late night drives where you have deep thoughts. “Take Me Down” is an emotional song that helps those who can’t let go of the past and regrets. The song provides the perfect message of saying goodbye to those past memories and to live in the present. “불면증 (Insomnia)” is a track with a soft melody, but a strong message. The song describes having too many thoughts and regrets to the point of not being able to sleep. Lastly, the album ends with a nice instrumental of the title track, “She’s In The Rain.”

This comeback is quite emotional and provides many strong messages that resonate to many people in each song. I almost cried listening to some of the songs, and I hope that these songs provide encouraging words to those in need. Please support and love The Rose as they continue their promotions!
