Throwback Thursday: Songs with Thanks
Happy Thanksgiving! This week for Throwback Thursday we are looking at a few songs with “Thanks” or “Thank You” in the title. What better way to spend Thanksgiving than by listening to songs that are all about being thankful?
“Thank You” - Ra.D
Considerably the cutest song off this week’s Throwback Thursday, Ra.D’s “Thank You” will transport you to the season of spring. “Thank You” is a song for those who want to say thanks to their partner for being with them. It is a song that will definitely warm your heart. Without a doubt, that butterflies-in-stomach and weak-in-the-knees feeling will come when listening to Ra.D’s sweet vocals. The music video itself will also warm your heart with the cute scenarios that the couple goes through. Don’t be surprised if you also find yourself smiling while watching the music video or listening to the song on its own!
“Thanks” - SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN’s song also covers the topic of love, but it’s mellow compared to the previous song. There is a double meaning to SEVENTEEN’s song as it is meant for their dedicated fans, but it is also a song that is meant for those reminiscing on the past memories between lovers. This song portrays a journey of being young and in love and realizing how much they’ve grown as people. SEVENTEEN is truly appreciative for the memories shared with their love interest and despite the ups and downs, they still love them. Whether it is for their fans or for a lover, they expressed their thanks for continuing to stay with them on this journey of love together.
“Thank You” - GOT7
Like SEVENTEEN, GOT7’s “Thank You” has a double meaning, meant not only for a lover but also for their fans. This R&B ballad will bring you to tears, as this songs is not only expressing thanks for the love that they have received but also apologizing for feeling like they have not given enough. Regardless, by the time the last chorus hits and they sing “thank you” in Korean, the “feels” truly hit home. It’s a reminder to fans especially that GOT7 is always thinking about them and thankful for each and every fan that continues to support them. There is no official music video for “Thank You,” but fans are still treated to a live, unplugged version of the song.
