Popular Streetwear Brands Trending Amongst Idols
K-Pop idols are fashion icons for many of their fans. Fans look up to their favorite groups for fashion ideas and tips. Boy groups tend to rock streetwear brands for dance practices and airport fashion. Four brands that are very popular amongst idols are SUPREME, OFF-WHITE, Vetements, and Adidas.
SUPREME
SUPREME is a very well-known brand that started as a skateboarding shop which now sells various clothes and accessories. SUPREME has multiple drops where people line up to purchase their new clothing line due to their limited edition items. SUPREME has also collaborated with many other popular brands, for example, A Bathing Ape, Fila, Nike, The North Face, Stussy, Champion, and even Louis Vuitton. Some idols who have worn SUPREME clothing or accessories is BTS’s V, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, and Jeon Somi.

OFF-WHITE
OFF-WHITE is personally one of my favorite streetwear brands in the industry. Most of the clothing and accessories from OFF-WHITE have their name/brand plastered all over it to establish its uniqueness. They have one signature clothing items that have the name, WHITE, printed on the back with diagonal stripes below it. Some idols who have rocked OFF-WHITE is: GOT7’s Mark Tuan, Wanna One’s Woojin, and EXO’s Chanyeol.

Vetements
Vetements is the French word for clothing, and this company is known for their anonymous design collective (multiple creators). They have burst into the fashion industry and have gained so much popularity over just two years. Many fashion influencers, such as Alexander Wang, have acknowledged the brand’s uniqueness and many fashionable celebrities, such as Kylie Jenner, have been jumping on the trend of their clothing. Some K-Pop idols who have been seen wearing Vetements is: BLACKPINK’s Rosé, BTS’s Jimin, and f(x)’s Victoria.

Adidas
Adidas is not quite known as a streetwear brand, but their clothing has been expressed in many different ways. Adidas is in the sporting goods industry with very famous shoes and apparel. Most idols wear their clothing and shoes because of their comfortable fit and material dependability. Idols who have worn Adidas are: BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, 2NE1, and GOT7.
