Throwback Thursday: Summer Party Playlist
Over the course of several weeks, there have been plenty of Throwback Thursdays geared towards summer. Here is another addition to the summer throwbacks as we bring you a fresh list of great songs to add to your party playlist that are guaranteed to get everyone up on their feet.
“GO CRAZY” - 2PM
When it comes to parties, 2PM is notorious for going big and fun (“My House” and “Hands Up” anyone?) with their music videos. “Go Crazy” is a definite must-have for your party thanks to its catchy and addictive sound and lyrics. By the time the chorus hits, you’ll probably find yourself and your friends going crazy on the dance floor. There are high chances of you doing the motorcycle revving dance that is iconic to the music video as well. It’ll be quite some time before we see another 2PM comeback as Taecyeon is currently serving in the military and the other members, aside from Nichkhun, are also nearing their time to enlist and serve. However, we still anticipate another fun release from the group in the future!
“We Like 2 Party” - BIGBANG
Considerably one of the best K-Pop party anthems, we couldn’t just leave BIGBANG’s “We Like 2 Party” out of this week’s Throwback Thursday! This is the first time the song has appeared on Throwback Thursday, but the song is just too good to pass up. This is a song that is especially fit for those outdoor barbecue parties spent chilling with a couple of close friends and some good food. “We Like 2 Party” is a more laid back yet fun track that gives you the chance to refresh yourself after dancing through several fast-paced dance songs. You can grab yourself a water and belt out the lyrics to the song at the top of your lungs. The music video also showcases the BIGBANG members having a blast on their own private holiday, making it even more reason to have fun and party together with friends.
“New Face”
Closing out this week’s throwbacks is PSY’s “New Face.” Set in the ultimate party destination of Las Vegas, this is the ultimate party anthem. “New Face,” like all tracks that PSY has released, is so catchy and fun, you’re guaranteed a fun time while this song is playing. There is so much energy and funk to the song that you’ll find yourself racing to the dance floor before you even realize it. Guaranteed, you will be having a fun time with friends when this song comes on at the party.
