“Gorilla” - PENTGON
Let’s go all the way back to PENTAGON’s debut! PENTAGON debuted with “Gorilla” in October of 2016 and despite the group being around for under two years, they have come a long way. “Gorilla” made a strong impression among fans, as this song is catchy and addictive, as well as strong and powerful. With a song like this, PENTAGON debuted wanting to leave a lasting impression that they are a force to be reckoned with and are not here to play games. Once the trumpets of the chorus come on, you can’t help but dance along to the beat. KCON LA Universe, are you ready to see this group take the stage? There is no doubt that “Shine” will be performed but in the meantime, check out their debut music video for “Gorilla” down below!
“Oasis” featuring ZICO - Crush
When it comes to Crush, you know you’re in for a ride thanks to his smooth and honey-like voice. “Oasis” is considered Crush’s staple summer jam because once it comes on, jamming along is a given. For those who attended KCON LA in 2016, the solo artist performed “Oasis” with Block B’s ZICO as well as soloist Zion.T. While Crush is known for more of his R&B ballads, it’s refreshing to hear Crush on tracks like “Oasis” as it definitely gets you hyped up. With his most recent comeback for “Cereal,” what other songs do you think he has in store for his stage for KCON LA 2018?
“8282” - DAVICHI
DAVICHI is another group that is returning to KCON. The OST and ballad queens are going to definitely rock the KCON LA 2018 stage this year with their dynamic vocals. “8282” is from their 2009 album, Davichi in Wonderland, which is a song that showcases their emotional vocals, transitioning into a high-energy song that one can dance to. While it is a sudden change that happens within the song, it still is an energetic song and you’ll find yourself entranced by their beautiful vocals. If you have not had the opportunity to check out DAVICHI, please do check out the rest of the veteran duo’s songs out before KCON LA!
“U&I” - Ailee
On the topic of powerhouse vocals, Ailee is finally greeting KCON LA attendees for the first time! We all know that Ailee brings a ferocity with her in her stage presence and performances, and there is no doubt that she will be bringing her A game to KCON LA. We simply cannot leave out Ailee’s “U&I” as it is that song that oozes with confidence that will just get you going. Who also remembers her iconic “U&I” performance at KCON NY 2016, where the music cut off but she still kept going and belted out notes effortlessly? When it comes to Ailee and her vocals, this soloist is capable of sending chills down your spine in the good way. KCON LA attendees, get ready to greet Ailee and give her a big West Coast welcome!
