Throwback Thursday: Chill Study Playlist
For most, it’s already the middle of the first semester of the school year, and often our energy and eagerness to learn starts to plateau. Sometimes we just need some good music to get us through long days and nights of studying, which is why this week, we’re highlighting great songs to keep you going through your studies.
“Sometimes” - Crush
If you’re into chillhop/lo-fi sounds, Crush’s “Sometimes” has the right sounds to have you grooving while you work. When it comes to Crush, his sweet, velvety vocals will instantaneously improve your mood. His discography is made up of chill R&B songs, which means just about everything is worthy of making it onto your study playlist. Check out the music video for Crush’s “Sometimes” down below and prepare to get swept off of your feet!
“D (Half Moon) feat. Gaeko” - DEAN
Another soloist makes it onto this week’s Throwback Thursday — as if we’d ever forget the one and only DEAN. “D (Half Moon)” is another easygoing song that’s light on the ears — perfect to have on in the background while you’re taking notes or working on a project. It’s also perfect for brewing up a nice cup of your favorite drink. However, one must be cautious when listening while studying, as DEAN’s vocals may just put you to sleep. We have not had a comeback recently from the solo artist, but fans in LA can check him out when he headlines the Los Angeles Korean Festival on Oct. 6!
“Goodbye Summer” feat. D.O - f(x)
We’re definitely saying goodbye to summer as the weather cools for the autumn season. “Goodbye Summer” features EXO’s D.O and f(x) members Amber, Krystal, and Luna together on an acoustic R&B track that evokes a nostalgic feeling. It’s not often we get to see these labelmates collaborate with each other, but we sure hope to see another EXO and f(x) collaboration in the future. You can’t deny this is a great addition to a study playlist — not to mention it’ll get you in the mood for the upcoming fall season. Grab a sweater, bundle up, and make yourself comfortable with “Goodbye Summer.”
