N.Flying Wishes You “Good Bam” in Their New Music Video

N.Flying has released the music video for their title track “Good Bam” as they return with their sixth mini-album Yaho. The title of their single is a play-on-words for the konglish word “굿밤,” “굿” meaning “good” and “밤” meaning “night.”

“Good Bam” has the signature groovy sound that has come to be associated with N.Flying’s music. Key parts of the playful tune are the continuous clapping percussion and the high-hat cymbals that fade in and out throughout the song, though they play an important part in the overall composition. When it comes to the lyrics of the track, the catchy hook “baby don’t talk to me, good night” will be stuck in your head for hours.

The music video chronicles the members’ good night. The colorful, yet muted color palette makes it easy to fall into a chill vibe alongside the music. The video starts with all the members asleep on the floor of what looks like a college boy’s first apartment. Once the song starts the members begin to wake up, checking their phones before starting their day. We see them organize the apartment while choosing different outfits until they settle into their looks for the rest of the video. They flop onto the couch and chat, as all young adults do when getting ready for a night out. Something exciting appears on Hun’s phone, sending the members running out the door. Their first stop is a cafe where they have a quick drink before heading out for their good night. Other stops include a noraebang, a photobooth where the four attempt to cram inside, and even a club for some time out on the dance floor. Towards the end of the music video, the members reunite on the couch. This time we get to hear the conversation they had earlier in the music video before heading out for their wild night. The video ends with snapshots of their night.

Overall, the music video for “Good Bam” stuck with N.Flying’s playful sound that many have come to love.
