EXO’s Baekhyun Shines at Privé Alliance’s L.A. Showcase
EXO’s breakout fashion designer Baekhyun premiered his latest collection under Privé Alliance at the Privé Los Angeles fashion showcase on February 26. The co-founder flew in from South Korea to attend the highly anticipated event, arriving at the Academy LA venue in Hollywood in style.
The 26-year-old debuted the latest pieces available for pre-order including outerwear, socks, and graphic tees. It’s clear he wanted each piece of his collection to have a trace of his identity; the new pieces center heavily on ‘92, his birth year. There are also elements of past collections, including the staple Privé logo, P-shaped pockets, and boxy silhouettes. “Be Brave, Be Humble” is also a central theme throughout the latest drop. Prices range from $20 to $140, aligning with the brand’s goal of accessible fashion.
Baekhyun took a moment to address the crowd before the models took the stage. “I think Privé is a fashion brand that anyone can wear really comfortably,” he said. He then went on to express his gratitude in collaborating with Privé, commented on his love for basics, and proudly shared how his identity is laced throughout the collection.
Fans were then able to pre-order items from the collection as well as take photos in front of the Privé step and repeat where Baekhyun posed just an hour before. This was an additional treat to the goodie bags they received, which promised a shirt, two stickers, and photocard with “Thank you for coming.” printed on the back.
The collection will be physically available for pre-order pickups at Acrostics Los Angeles from February 27 to March 5. Fans can also shop previous collections at the pop-up shop.
