Ssin

If you’d like exciting new looks with a side of humor, Ssin is definitely for you. Her androgynous style and exceptional makeup skills have set her apart from the usual beauty scene on YouTube. From HyunA to Jung Woosung, Ssin’s makeup transformations are truly mesmerizing to watch. Her laid-back personality paired with her fresh content make her a force to be reckoned with!

JJeong U

Jjeong U is one of my absolute favorite YouTubers on the scene right now! Aside from simple, everyday makeup looks and hair care tips, she also uploads regular vlogs. While a few of them feature other countries around Asia, a majority of them are about her everyday outings, salon visits, and impromptu meokbangs. She also intersperses a few self care and nighttime routine videos, narrated in her calm and clear voice, that are super easy to follow. Vicariously living through someone else's YouTube videos has never felt more wholesome.

Lamuqe

A channel both makeup amateurs and professionals can enjoy, Lamuqe’s page is filled with a variety of tutorials. One of her most interesting series is the “plastic surgery makeup” videos, where she basically helps people tackle areas they’re insecure about through makeup alone. From simple videos regarding trouble correcting base makeup to skincare tips and clothing hauls, there’s something for everyone here.

Jella

While the list of K-Beauty creators is extensive, there are only a handful of darker-skinned YouTubers. Jella is a prominent member of this exclusive bunch. As well as vlogging and reviewing different skin and hair procedures, she creates makeup looks that can be applicable to a wider range of people. I particularly love how her product reviews and informative sessions are simple and effective. It also helps that almost all of her videos, especially the recent ones, have English subtitles. So, if you’re of a darker skin tone or you’ve just got a tan and want to know how to use typical K-Beauty shades, this channel will show you the way.
