FANXY CHILD Reunites For “Y”

Taking over the Korean hip-hop and R&B scene once again, FANXY CHILD is back to give fans and listeners another sizzling hot track. For those who are just discovering FANXY CHILD, the group consists of members ZICO, DEAN, Crush, penomeco, and millic. This project group previously released first song “BERMUDA TRIANGLE,” which took listeners and fans on a dark and gritty ride thanks to its deep hip-hop sound and feel. 

After two years, FANXY CHILD has come back with “Y” under KOZ Entertainment (ZICO’s newly established label). “Y” is much slower in tempo compared to its older-sibling release. While “BERMUDA TRIANGLE” took on the hip-hop route in sound and style, “Y” takes on the R&B, lo-fi sound notable for being somber and chill. The “Y” represents being at a crossroads in life and feeling like having to choose a certain path over another, definitely adding to the dark theme of the music video. Not only is the song breathtaking, but the visuals of the music video are also a sight to see. Each of the members has their own moment to shine in the video alongside different special effects and sets.

All in all, FANXY CHILD has released another great hit, and we’re certainly curious to see what the project group has in store for their next reunion.
