Since establishing his independent label and going solo, ZICO has consistently been putting out release after release. Kicking off the new year, ZICO has treated fans to a new single titled “Any song” which is a feel good, upbeat song that will have fans and listeners grooving along to its catchy and funky beat. 

Sometimes it’s not about having the most deep and complex song out there, and “Any song” is the perfect example of letting loose and enjoying things in the moment. In a world that is full of stressors, negativity, and boring standstills, ZICO speaks of putting on music that is exciting and upbeat. Even if it’s something momentary, music is the right type of medicine that can uplift and make one feel better. ZICO places emphasis on getting lost in the happy vibe of good music and dancing to it without any care. As long as it is something that many enjoy and feel good about, music is the answer. Although ZICO seems indifferent in the music video, inside the energy and positive vibes are ready to come out. On his terms, of course. 

One listen of “Any song” is simply not enough as it is sure to have listeners putting this song on repeat for quite some time. Listeners catch themselves smiling along to the song and the music video (which also showcases Zico partying it up before dancing to his own beat). Not long after the release of “Any song,” the single peaked at the number one spot on the music charts in South Korea, earning ZICO a certified All-Kill, showcasing not only the popularity of the solo artist but just how this song is so good and addicting. 

To emphasize the popularity of “Any song,” ZICO also began the “Any song” Challenge. This dance challenge gives a peek at some of the simple and easy to follow choreography to the song. With collaborations with MAMAMOO’s Hwasa and Chungha, other artists (AB6IX and actress Park Shinhye) have started to jump on the bandwagon in trying the “Any song” Challenge. It’s only a matter of time till many more jump in on the action. This goes to show that “Any song” is a smash hit and well worth the listen. ZICO does not disappoint in delivering a solid track for fans of all ages to enjoy.
