AB6IX “Salute” to You in Their Newest Music Video

AB6IX has returned with their third mini-album, SALUTE. The album is filled with a variety of tracks that show off each member’s musical abilities.

The title track “SALUTE” is an intense hip-hop track that was composed by Lee Daehwi, On the road, and Rhymer. The lyrics were written by members Lee Daehwi and Park Woojin. The track has distinct drum sounds that add impact and intensity to the hip-hop vibe. During the track, Daehwi had his first rap verse that was complemented perfectly by Woojin’s charismatic and bold rap.

The music video portrays military marching band performances in which the background dancers are marching while creating beats on the snare drums. The dance choreography for the chorus is also quite similar to the military marching band with very uniform, sharp movements. The members are seen wearing military-inspired outfits, which perfectly match the lyrics of the track. They all stand out impressively under the intense stage lighting, each member dominating the scene with their closeup shots. Donghyun particularly stands out with his fencing scene, where he has to battle against a giant robotic arm.

“Mirror” is quite similar to the title, which is a bold hip-hop track. “Heaven,” “이게 그리움이 아니라면 대체 뭐겠어 (Maybe),” and “ Bloom” are soft pop tracks that have some bold rap verses to show off the group’s hip-hop concept. The album ends with the soft ballad “한걸음 뒤에 서서 (Behind You),” which showcases the members’ strong vocals.

AB6IX has returned with a bold and charismatic concept, so please love and support them!
