“Smoke It Out” is a chill R&B/lo-fi track that is easy to groove along to. While the beat of the song is rather simple and easygoing, the lyrics take the forefront of the song, focusing more on its meaning of wanting to come together and shutting out the negativity. In this day and age where there is so much happening in the world, as Alice mentions in the interview, we must all come together as a collective and settle these differences with one another. Alice is not afraid to keep real with “Smoke It Out,” and it’s a song that she hopes will reach the ears of many, especially for the meaning behind the song.
