For this week's Throwback Thursday, let’s take a look at “Fire” K-Pop songs from various groups that are sure to add a spark to your soul.

“Fire” - 2NE1

2NE1 were not afraid to pack a punch with their song “Fire.” It is a hip-hop song that is bursting with energy, and you can really feel the confidence in their voices that makes you feel equally as confident while listening along. For this track, the group released two versions of the music video, a “Street” version and a “Space” version. Both videos feature unique sets full of cool outfits and a chance to see the charismatic sides of the members.

“Fire” - JJCC

JJCC mixes EDM and hip-hop to create this hype song. The most memorable lyric from “Fire” is when the members shout in unison, “The roof is on fire!” The music video includes scenes of the members working on cars and lots of dancing and dance battles, with the main point for their dance as the silly yet distinctive arm wave.

“PLAYING WITH FIRE” - BLACKPINK

“PLAYING WITH FIRE'' begins with a piano tune that turns into an EDM riff while using elements of R&B. The song gives a chance for BLACKPINK’s vocals to shine while the lyrics compare love to playing with fire. The music video shows various aesthetic shots of the girls and a more subdued choreography to match the slower sound, allowing you to keep your attention on the song.

“Fire Truck” - NCT 127

NCT 127 brings a completely different and unique sound in “Fire Truck.” Through each listen, this song will grow on you until you are addicted. It’s heavy EDM influence and various switches between vocal and rap lines make it entrancing with each listen. The music video is equally as unique to the song, from dramatic eye makeup and hair to bright pops of colors in the video and, of course, lots of scenes with the members spraying fire hoses.

“Fire” - BTS

“Fire” by BTS is the ultimate hype song. It immediately pulls you in with the drop and the chant of “fire” in the background. This high energy continues to build throughout the song and just explodes into a spectacular ending. From the bold colors, powerful group dance, and the party vibe the members exude, the music video ties together all of the excitement and passion from the song.
