Dealing with the Post-Concert Blues
The feelings after a concert has ended can hit hard. With concerts returning and ready to go, the end of the show is all part of the process. Here are a few things to know when dealing with the post-concert blues once the show ends.
It’s Okay to Cry
From the moment the show is over to even days later, the nostalgic feeling of wishing you were still at the concert can hit any time and make you emotional. It’s okay to cry it out. Many people feel a connection at a concert and genuine happiness while they’re there, so it’s okay to be sad when it’s over. Don’t feel bad for crying it out.
It May Not Hit Right Away
Following a concert, it may take some time before the emotions even hit. At the end of a show, adrenaline is still very high, and the realization the night has just happened still has to process too. But when it hits, it may hit hard.
It’s Okay to Feel Nostalgic
Obviously, once the emotions hit, all you’re going to want is to be back in the venue living your best life. Feeling nostalgic is completely normal. If watching videos, looking at photos, or listening to music is what helps, then go for it. It can always be fun to go back through the memories you made!
Everyone Deals with Emotions Differently
Whether it’s crying, watching content, going through photos, or any other outlet, everyone deals with the emotions of missing the night of their concert differently. A concert can be so special and once it ends, it can truly be crushing when it’s over. No matter how you cope, just know any method is okay!
