T1 Partners with RaidenxBAEKHYUNxCHANGMO for Their Theme “Runner”

T1 Entertainment and Sports League of Legends team is the most decorated team in the history of the game, and a team like that needs an anthem that is larger than life. In an unprecedented first, T1 partnered with EXO’s Baekhyun, RAIDEN, and Changmo for “Runner.”  

Raiden uses a mix of EDM, trap, and rock elements in the song to create a sophisticated melody that pairs well with both Baekhyun's dreamy vocals and Changmo’s biting bars. 

The song lyrics are a mix of English and Korean, making it easy for fans to find something to sing along to. With lines like “I’m the legend” “Legends never die,” and “I’m gonna take it all,” it's hard not to feel hyped when listening to it. While the song is meant to create hype around T1 it really does give fans a taste of what rocker Baekhyun might sound like and we would love to hear more of it. 

The music video features the members of T1 in between shots of Changmo, Baekhyun, and Raiden, most notably Faker who appears at the beginning of the music video playing piano and then at the end. Throughout the video you can see glimpses of various T1 memorabilia, including the three world championship trophies held by the team. 

This song is one that we should all get familiar with and fast because we will be hearing it again and again as T1 continues to make history on the way to securing that fourth championship win this year.
