June Sees the Return of Many Favorite Dramas

This summer is continuing the trend for fantastic drama starts. Even more exciting is that this June, fans will see the return of some of their favorite Korean dramas. If starting a brand new drama sounds better than checking out a new season, here are a few freshly starting dramas as well.

Penthouse 3

Not much has been written about the new season of Penthouse, which can be a good thing. If you watched the first two seasons, then you know what a chaotic ride this has been. There is also a new character named Baek Joongi (On Joowan) that may bring new excitement to the series.

Season 3 of Penthouse starts in early June, and you can watch it on Viki.

Hospital Playlist 2

Hospital Playlist was such a great drama, right? Well, fans are in luck! Season 2 is back with more feel-good stories from everyone’s favorite medical team. All the actors from Season 1 will be back, and with the way Season 1 ended, fans might be able to get some of the answers they need. Hospital Playlist 2 starts on June 12 and will be available on Netflix.

Voice 4: Judgement Hour

The Golden Team unit is back again for the fourth installment of this fast-paced crime drama. This time they are up against a serial killer with the same hearing skill as Kang Kwonjo (Lee Hana). Still dealing with the death of someone close to her, she continues to do her job. Kwonjo is helped by newcomer Derek Jo (Song Seungheon), who likes to do things by the book. Will this help or impede the Golden Team as they race to find this newest serial killer?

There is no mention of where you can watch Voice 4: Judgement Hour yet, but you can check out the trailer below.

Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 2

Season 1 of Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) was TV Chosun’s most-watched drama, and now they are back with the second season. The drama follows three couples who are at different stages in their lives. Each pair has something happen in their marriage that changes everything.

A new poster of Season 2 shows the couples split in half and the husbands are with new love interests, causing fans to speculate that the wives are in for a terrible ride. There isn’t a link for it yet, but Love ft. Marriage and Divorce 2 will be available on Netflix in mid-June.

This webtoon-adapted K-Drama is sure to make your romantic drama-loving heart happy. Park Jaeuhn (Song Kang) is a flirt but has no time to do any real dating. He is friendly, but doesn’t bother chasing after anyone. That is until Yoo Nabi (Han Soohee) walks into his life. She had a terrible love experience and no longer has an interest in dating. Will meeting Park Jaeuhn change her mind on finding love again?

Nevertheless starts airing on June 19 and will be available on Netflix.

The Witch’s Diner

Jo Heera (Song Jihyo) is the oldest person alive in history—or at least that’s what she thinks. She can’t remember how many years she’s been on Earth. After a tragic incident in her young life, she decided to become a witch. Now, eons later, she decides to run a restaurant with Jin (Nam Jihyun). She makes food that grants the customer’s wish, and in exchange, her customers must give her something she wants.

No trailer has been released yet, but The Witch’s Diner will be available on Viki sometime in June.
