HA:TFELT Makes Us Nostalgic for “Summertime”

As of July 14, HA:TFELT is back with her first single of 2021, “Summertime.” This time, the artist teamed up with rapper Keem Hyoeun to make a hypnotic track reminiscing the “shimmering summertime” and the days gone by. HA:TFELT mixes her clear, longing vocals with the groovy guitar and atmospheric synths to bring us a song that is perfect for blaring in the car or for dancing down at the beach, and Keem Hyoeun heats it up even more with his added verse, where he claims, “I quit drinking, but my glass is full of this vibe.” This song is definitely a vibe that will carry you through the rest of your summer!

The music video, directed by Illumin and Sokodomo, tells the story of the perfect summer day. It begins with scenes of the singer partying in a house with other beautiful girls, all of whom are dressed in neutral colors, reminding us slightly of Billie Eilish’s “Lost Cause” music video. The similarities stop there though, as the video goes from day to night, transitioning into a colorful pool party. Combine these elements with HA:TFELT singing on a beach in front of a gorgeous sunset, and this video makes us nostalgic for just one more summer day.
