Webtoons have been rising in popularity these past two years, and now K-Pop companies are breaking into the field. SG Entertainment will release a series of webtoons starting this month through Naver Webtoon and their Patreon. The first series is called Kpop Company Insider, a fictional tale that combines SG Entertainment workers, elements of K-Pop, and details of the company's founding. This series was written by SG Entertainment's Art Director Quiandez "Gyu" McAfee and will be translated into English, Korean, Spanish, and French.

Kpop Company Insider starts out showing two members of the company gagged and bound with an interesting looking feline standing between them. In the next panel, a flashback begins. Readers are introduced to employees who will purportedly take SG Entertainment to the next level, and the first chapter of the webtoon is bound to leave readers wanting more.

Another webtoon series will be about the future girl group Alpha Ray, and more plans are in the works to create an interconnected universe of content for fans to enjoy. In addition, there will be OSTs, podcasts, interviews, and draft drawings available via SG Entertainment's Patreon. The goal is to provide fans a closer look at the operations at the company.

SG Entertainment's Marketing Director Yasmine Benhaddi said, “These webtoons and the content that is attached to it represent a unique way to deliver content to fans. It’s a chance to enhance our brand and relationship with consumers.”
