Eric Nam Rocks Out Sold-Out San Diego

After what seems like an eternity, Eric Nam embarked on his highly anticipated tour, There and Back Again. The tour comes as a follow-up to his latest album of the same name, and it comes as no surprise that he sold out more than half of his 52 city stops. As of writing this article, the artist continues to add more dates to cities, and it’s definitely a tour not to miss out on if he’s coming near you. It should be noted that Eric Nam is joined by Lyn Lapid and Audrey Mika as his openers for his tour.

As one of the first Korean artists to embark on their tour in 2022, Eric Nam puts on a fire of a show. As The Kraze was able to make it out to the San Diego stop of the tour, getting the chance to be among fans and in a sold-out venue was quite exhilarating and fun. Rising star Lyn Lapid (“Producer Man”) kicked off the night with her band, getting the crowd warmed up and introducing a few unreleased songs that are in store for the future. This was also a great introduction for concert-goers to get to know who Lyn Lapid is and check out more of her music.

Packed to the brim with fans, once Eric Nam and his live band stepped onto the stage, you could practically hear the room vibrate and shift with excitement. For those who have never been to an Eric Nam show before, just know that he is going to make sure everyone is dancing, jumping, and singing along. From playing songs from his latest album like “I Don’t Know You Anymore” and “Any Other Way” to fan favorites like “You’re Sexy I’m Sexy” and “Honestly,” there were barely any moments to rest and catch one’s breath. But in the moments of respite, ballads like “Love Die Young” and “One Way Lover” touched the hearts of the crowd and left them in awe. Perhaps one of the best performances of the night was when Eric Nam blew it out of the wild with one of his latest songs, “Wildfire.” As fans often like to say about their favorites and their live performances, this man literally eats his CDs and is actually even better live.

With only a quarter of his shows under his belt, Eric Nam has a fantastic tour ahead of him, and those who are able (and comfortable) to make it to a city close by, please catch this fiery and charismatic artist on his There and Back Again tour. Eric Nam does not disappoint, and you’re in for a wonderful line-up of songs and performances.
