Boom!

For this week's Throwback Thursday, we will take a look at songs that are sure to brighten up your day with a Boom!

BLACKPINK - “BOOMBAYAH”

BLACKPINK brings the party with their hype electronic song “BOOMBAYAH.” The members' confidence can be felt through their vocals as they create a powerhouse of a song. The bass and drop at the chorus are hard to resist, leaving a strong impression on anyone watching. The music video is just as flashy as the song, filled with various dance stages and, of course, lots of pink.

SEVENTEEN - “BOOMBOOM”

SEVENTEEN brings us a cool concept for their song “BOOMBOOM.” This funky song keeps that brassy and bright style we know and love from SEVENTEEN and with raps, particularly from S.Coups, that really stand out. The music video gives us a perfect mix of cool and goofy. Most of their outfits are quite dashing, and then we shortly see the members wearing matching crushed velvet bomber jackets. Their choreography pulls the song all together as it mirrors the darker aesthetics while showing off SEVENTEEN’s classic powerhouse dancing.

MOMOLAND - “BBoom BBoom”

“BBoom BBoom” is a quirky yet refreshing song from MOMOLAND. Its bright beat will draw you in and have you ready to dance along. The high energy and particularly the chorus are so fun before we get hit with an unexpected rap break that changes the style completely before immediately jumping back into the cheery sound. The music video is adorable as it features the members in various infomercials, as well as their adorable choreography that is quite hard to forget.

NCT Dream - “BOOM”

“BOOM” shows us a mature side to NCT Dream with a much edgier concept than their cute and youthful looks. The repetition of, “Boom, boom, boom,” throughout the song is quite sleek with its synth bass and hip-hop style. The music video shows us a chic side of the members as they show off their various cool looks.
