Summer with K-R&B

There is nothing better to chill along with than some smooth Korean R&B. For this week's Throwback Thursday we will be taking a look at some songs that will relax you and bring you into the feel of a warm summer’s day.

“Summer Go Loco” - LOCO feat. GRAY

LOCO brings all of the summer vibes in his song, “Summer Go Loco.” This chill song will transport you to a summer night out with friends. The chorus, “this summer summer go lo-co oh e ohh,” is incredibly catchy while enjoying the lofi sound. 

“Outside” - Crush

“Outside” is another amazing tune by Crush, but this time with a summer twist. It is an addictively groovy tune where Crush easily pulls you in with his beautiful vocals. The music video is quite unique as it shows Crush’s dog out enjoying typical beach activities while Crush is the one stuck inside. 

“Dawn of Us” - Jackson Wang

Jackson Wang beckons us into his warm summer with his song “Dawn of Us.” This R&B track will have you imagining yourself laying by the pool or enjoying a tropical beach trip. Jackson’s husky voice is gentle throughout and really adds to the chill style of this song. The music video features Jackson having fun and enjoying himself on an island getaway.   

“Martini Blue” - DPR Live

“Martini Blue” gives us a mix of a chill sound as DPR Live goes from soft tones to brighter ad-libs in the tune. His smooth flow makes you want to put this song on repeat. The music video is an aesthetic masterpiece. We follow DPR Live around as he wanders around Greece. We get to see a breathtaking yet different perspective. Instead of the typical bright blues we are used to seeing with Greece, we get these deep dark blues that have a striking contrast against the white of the buildings.
