PENTAGON’s KINO Releases Special Single “POSE”

Fans have been holding their breath for a solo release from PENTAGON’s KINO, and the day has finally come. While not an official solo debut, KINO dropped the special single “POSE” on August 9. KINO is a born performer, and that is clearly showcased in this single.

“POSE” is a smooth and catchy pop track with R&B influences, giving off very strong TAEMIN vibes. A tried and true formula for male soloists, this track definitely has a catchiness to it despite the anti-drop. There is a large range to KINO’s vocals in this track, with a good amount of the melody having him singing in falsetto. This allows him to showcase more of a range to his vocals.

Performance is where this idol really shines and always has. In every PENTAGON comeback, he has embodied the concept almost perfectly, and his solo track is no exception to this. The choreography showcases a more sensual feel, especially in his duet dance with one of his backup dancers. His movements are so smooth and absolutely captivating. KINO has a killer stage presence, and through his performance you can feel the tension expressed in the lyrics.
