Rookies with a Burning Passion—BLANK2Y is Back!

Only three months after rushing in with confidence with their debut mini-album K2Y I: CONFIDENCE [Thumbs Up], BLANK2Y is already back. The Spanish word “fuego” can be translated as not only passion but also fire, while in English slang, it can mean excellent, awesome, and can refer to a person’s attractiveness. BLANK2Y delivers all those meanings in their new mini-album K2Y II: PASSION [FUEGO].

The rookie group’s first-ever comeback album delivers a total of four new songs. The tracklist opens with the instrumental “INTRO [U]” which is followed by the title track, “FUEGO (Burn it up).” It shows the kind of passion that makes you wonder if you should go past your current limit, to get deeper even if you are running out of breath. The next fiery track, “FUEGO (Fearless),” showcases a passion that keeps you going forward courageously—fearless, if you’d like. Either way, both songs show that with passion, you will be able to keep going toward your desires.

The group's connection to their fans, K2YWE, has been very strong since their pre-debut times. Giving this relationship another emotional wave, just like in their debut album, BLANK2Y closes the tracklist with a beautiful, love-filled fan song, “I Wish - Fan Song.” International K2YWE can start getting ready to hear these fan songs live as well since the group just announced that they are heading to their first Meet & Live Tour next month, with seven locations already revealed. 

Confidence, passion…we are eager to see the theme for the upcoming last mini-album in their first K2Y trilogy.
