Top B-Sides of 2022 From The Kraze Team

Happy New Year from all of us at The Kraze to our wonderful readers! Thank you so much for your support this past year. 2023 is sure to be filled to the brim with world tours, new debuts, and fresh concepts that we can’t wait to share with you. But, before looking ahead at what’s to come, I thought we’d throw it back this week and take a peek at The Kraze’s top B-side tracks of 2022.

“Run BTS” - BTS

“As soon as I heard that song come on when listening to Proof, I knew it was going to be my favorite. From the vocals to the music itself, it’s a different vibe from the music they had been doing, almost more of a rock vibe rather than pop. It’s an upbeat song that’ll always hype you up.” - Cara, Editor

“Cyberpunk” - ATEEZ

“The composition of this song hooks you from the first listen. It goes so hard it's infectious, and from just about everyone I've heard it's objectively an amazing song. [My] brain cannot formulate articulate words, it's just SO GOOD.” - Roxy, Chief Marketing Officer

Feel alive with ATEEZ by listening to “Cyberpunk” from their ninth EP, THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT!

"Shelter" - E'LAST

“I didn't think any of their B-sides would beat ‘Dangerous’ as my favorite, but ‘Shelter’ is an absolutely gorgeous track that feels like the warmest hug. Much like the title, it's truly a safe, warm track that's there whenever you need it.” - Meighan, Editor-In-Chief

Find your shelter with E’LAST and look forward to more from the eight-member group in 2023!

“Shadow” - SEVENTEEN

“[It’s] an absolute standout for me! It’s a fast tempo song accompanied by passionate vocals with acoustic guitar strums that lead to a belting chorus. All these elements blended together beautifully and skillfully thanks to composing contributions from none other than the group’s main producer, Woozi, and also maknae, Dino. ‘Shadow’ is such a pleasant and exciting listening experience and one of [SEVENTEEN]’s best songs in my opinion!” - Hien, Writer

“Don’t Care About Me” - GOT7

“GOD THIS SONG IS AMAZING. I feel like when GOT7 had a comeback this year, not only was it exciting, but [it] had to be scary for them as well. I feel like they played it safe by having ‘Nanana’ as the title track, but ‘Don’t Care About Me’ is such a good song that could honestly be a title track if they wanted. Jinyoung and Yugyeom produced this song and said that they made it to all the people who hated on them and thought/believed that they would disband.” - Robyn, Social Content Manager

Listen to “Don’t Care About Me” and look forward to more from the members of GOT7 as they continue to produce music both as individual artists and as a group!

“For Youth” - BTS

"When looking back through my most memorable K-Pop moments of 2022, I thought it’d be nearly impossible to choose my favorite B-side among so many excellent releases. However, one stood out to me immediately, and it’s not hard to understand why. BTS is the group that sparked my interest in K-Pop back in 2019. By January of 2020, I was hopelessly in love and there was no turning back. I saw them live for the third time on October 8 at The Fact Music Awards 2022, where the members performed 'For Youth' along with 'Yet to Come' from their anthology album, Proof. Although the band hadn’t announced their plans for military service yet, I knew in my heart it’d be our last time together for the foreseeable future. Surrounded by a sea of ARMY bombs, I let the lyrics of 'For Youth' and the harmonies of my seven favorite voices comfort me. It’s slow in tempo and bittersweet in meaning, but as a song that looks to the past while simultaneously preparing for a new chapter, I couldn’t think of a better B-side to celebrate the New Year." - Sydney, Writer
