No strangers to the big apple, CIX returned to perform for New York City FIX on their Save me, Kill me tour in bigger venues and even bigger cities. Following the Europe leg of their tour, the group is kicking off their U.S. stops starting with the concrete jungle at the famed Terminal 5.

Eager fans who had queued since the night before made their way to the barricade excitedly displaying their member slogans, posters and a surprise prepared for the group later on. The anticipation in the air was palpable with fans sharing their love for the group among themselves, discussing their favorite songs and how much they were looking forward to seeing their idols perform in front of them. As the venue continued to fill, a playlist of the boys’ most recent tracks played for fans to sing along, making sure that the crowd was pumped up and ready for the show.

CIX last visited NYC in May and September of last year, and for those who have never seen them live, tonight was a performance unlike before. As the hour clicked into 7:30, the lights dimmed and five silhouettes appeared on the stage backlit by each member’s respective color.

Kicking off their set with "Numb," the audience exploded in excitement as the familiar intro rang through the speakers and the show began. Keeping the energy up, the boys immediately transitioned into “What You Wanted” that incited roars of BX’s iconic “Get it poppin’, Keep it comin’, Bust it open!” rap verse.

The group then took a second to introduce themselves to the crowd and catch their breath before going into one of their most intense tracks of the night: “Jungle.” The song, which features a vocally intense, choreography heavy performance, highlights the groups’ amazing talents. The audience was captivated by their energy and enthusiasm as they performed the hit single. After the electrifying performance, the group continued into their popular tracks “Imagine,” “Like it That Way,” and their most recent release “458.”

Approaching the halfway point in their show, CIX paused their group performance to showcase each members’ individual charm in their solo stages. The first to return to the stage was Yonghee, performing Justin Bieber's "Holy" with a casual fit and smooth vocals as the focus of his set. Following him was BX, who performed DPR Live's "Jasmine" while encapsulating the charisma of the track. Next up was Seunghun, performing The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" (which he noted was his second choice after "I Don't Wanna Know' ' by Mario Winans). Maknae Hyunsuk sang "Text Me" by DPR Live, and reminded those who attended their previous tour that BX performed the track before, but tonight they would see Hyunsuk's version. The final stage was performed by Bae Jinyoung, who sang "Alright" by Keshi accompanied by a freestyle.

After their individual performances, the members regrouped to speak to the audience about their stages. Each member shared their inspiration and reasoning for their solos with Yonghee stating that his love for FIX was his inspiration, while members Jinyoung and BX expressed their admiration for the original performers of their stages and the want to cover it themselves.

As the group entered the second half of the show, they started to slow down their pace. This allowed the audience to fully appreciate "Without You" and "Everything." The members took time to interact with fans, serenading them and making them feel special, fully immersing them in the moment.

Although this was the boys’ third time performing in the city, it was their first time performing "BAD DREAM"  in front of their U.S. fans. Despite this, the excitement in the venue was evident as fans screamed the fan chant in unison, their voices echoing and reverberating around the venue. During the performance of their upbeat track "Young," the boys’ energetically danced and jumped around the stage as wide smiles adorned their faces. It was a heartwarming sight, watching the members thoroughly enjoy themselves and have fun on stage.

With a few songs left in the setlist, the anticipation was killer and you could hear chatter and whispers all around as people tried to guess what would come next. Suddenly, the band took their formation on stage, and the crowd erupted into cheers, knowing that the debut track and fan favorite, "Movie Star," was about to begin. The opening notes of the song sent a surge of electricity through the audience, and despite technical difficulties, FIX did not miss a beat in singing for the boys.

As the final VCR of the night played, the members returned to the stage in their tour shirts, signaling that the show would be ending in a song or two. Each member expressed gratitude towards the fans for joining CIX on their journey and sticking with the group for so long, promising to return soon. They then moved on to perform “Drown in Luv” and “Cinema,” with a disco ball lighting up the venue. It was time for the final song of the night, and in true CIX fashion, it was none other than "The One." The boys pranced around the stage as they sang the closing number, interacting with fans and sending hearts to the audience.

As the show came to a close, it was clear that CIX had left their mark on New York City. Their incredible talent, infectious energy, and connection to their fans had made for a night that no one in attendance would soon forget. The night was filled with unforgettable moments, but perhaps the most touching came during CIX's goodbye. Fans surprised the members with a touching display of support, a flag signed by fans in attendance that read: “THANK YOU FOR COMING, FROM ALL FIXES WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU”.

While the night may have come to an end for New York City FIX, you can still catch the group on their  Save Me, Kill Me tour touching down in Fort Worth, Tempe, LA and Oakland.
