TXT’S WESTERN ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Just a few weeks out from their second Lollapalooza appearance, TXT (Tomorrow x Together) already has many accomplishments written next to their name. If you’re preparing to see another remarkable performance and want to know a little more about the five boys and their recent accomplishments, I'm here to help!

To start everything off, let’s talk a little about their most recent release. Collabs with Western artists is a hot market for the K-Pop industry right now and for the five boys, it’s nothing new. Hot summer songs get released all the time and “Do It Like That” is definitely an example of a song for the summer. This release was a collaboration with the Jonas Brothers and it was a perfect mixture of both groups and their insanely talented vocals. The group found a perfect way to drop the announcement for the collaboration through fun-filled TikToks and social media posts, the main one being a recreation of a Jonas Brothers album cover on Twitter. The choreography also allows for an easy listen and watch, if you enjoy fun-filled songs “Do It Like That” is for you!

Throughout their whole career, TXT has accomplished many exciting things. A huge one being their first ever appearance at Lollapalooza last year. Coming out in their iconic “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)” outfits, the energy was already through the roof. Throughout their almost hour long set, the boys knew how to rock out and make the crowd that waited a whole day have the time of their lives. At the end of their set they brought out iann dior and performed their hit collaboration song “Valley of Lies” which made the crowd go crazy. After their record breaking performance the group was announced to be a part of the 2023 line up and MOAs grew even more excited. If you are looking forward to viewing their performance, be prepared for an amazing show!

My favorite accomplishment of all will be the selling out of the BMO Arena in Los Angeles, California. There was no denying that the five boys had it in them to sell out such a large venue, but the fact that it happened made many MOAs and the boys themselves proud. Two sold out nights at the arena allowed the boys to be a part of a group of K-Pop idols to do so and made it much more obvious how serious their western fame is. It was a large jump from their previous tour being at the Microsoft Theater which only held about seven thousand fans to an arena that held 22,000 and it truly can only go up from here.

From pre-debut shows at small venues, to selling out their first arena tour the group has experienced many things 2019 TXT could only dream of. Whether you’re new to the fandom or have been here for the past four years, the group will continue to break records. While MOAs await what comes next for the group music wise, they will cheer on the boys during Lollapalooza and continue streaming!
