DKB Show True Love in We Love You Repackage

Following the release of their EP I Need Love the Brave Entertainment boy group DKB is back with their sixth mini-album titled We Love You. Since this mini-album is a repackage, four new songs were added to the track list, making it eight tracks in total with “All Yours”, and “Told You” being the title tracks.

The four new songs added are:

  1. “Told You” (Title Track)

  2. “All Yours” (Title Track)

  3. “Paradise”

  4. “Told You” (Remix)

Title Tracks: “Told You” & “All Yours”

DKB is known for incorporating hip-hop, R&B, and pop into their tracks, and they did. Both tracks are a good mixture of pop and R&B and showcased the member's vocals fully. While listening to the DKB comeback it took my brain a moment to realize that the two title tracks “Told You” and “All Yours” were very similar, but different at the same time. I kept jumping back and forth between the two songs trying to find the difference. Then, I realized that while both tracks start the same, have the same length in time, and possess the same sound, once the members start to sing you hear the difference. Each song tells its own story. In “Told You” they talk about how they have explained to their partner that they are the only one for them. They sing about running away, holding hands, and just being together. “All Yours” is an English track and the lyrics talk about how they will give everything to their partner. Clothes, cars, and even themselves because they love them so much. So while both songs sound the same, they carry their own love stories which are fascinating.

The videos are stunning, both bright and ethereal. To me, the videos were giving royalty, and whenever a group does a regal concept it is so refreshing to see. It was great to see that the concept fits them perfectly. The black and white outfits during their dance scenes fit the overall theme and stood out from the brown background. It was a beautiful addition to the already outstanding tracks.

“Paradise” is the next new addition on the repackaged mini-album and it’s a cute pop love song that melts all of our hearts. The vocals in this track make me want to play this with my windows down, and my hands out the window. This summer feel-good song talks about how they want to be in paradise with their partner, and how they will be there for them no matter what. It’s really heartwarming with a deep message. The last song is “Told You” (Remix) and it gives off ‘80s vibes. The upbeat drum and piano lighten the mood in the room and bring a smile to your face. It is a great way to end the mini-album and brighten the mood of listeners.

DKB has done it again releasing a great album. These boys are super talented and always amaze us all when they drop music. The We Love You repackage shows all the pure emotion that happens when one is truly in love, and was a great transition from I Need Love. While listening to the comeback I could only go back and think of the growth that DKB has had since “Sorry Mama” and that has put a smile on my and many fans' faces, and we can’t wait to see what they have planned for the future.
