Take a look at some of the best work to come out of October 2024.

Best Music Videos By A Group

82MAJOR shows off their martial arts skills in their new humorous, Block B-esque music video.  The aesthetic and story of “Stuck” has a second generation feel to it with its retro movie imagery and heist scenes. In the video, the members go undercover and plan an elaborate scheme to hunt down and expose bald men while wearing an array of diguises.

“GOLD” by ITZY is filled with tons of effects from crumbling houses to lava and floating glitter. The video was directed by Bang Jaeyeob who ITZY previously worked with for “BORN TO BE” and “In the morning.” The video effects and techniques used in “GOLD” are similar to Bang Jaeyeob’s other work “LALALALA” by Stray Kids

aespa took “Whiplash” literally with fast cuts, camera pans, and whips. The fastpace electronic song is paired well with the ever changing scenes of the video.

“He + She = We” opens with members Kyrell and Kamden talking in English about cats and a new discovery that Kamden made. The video is fun and light, much like the song and shows off AMPERS&ONE’s charm.

Honorable mentions:

“Night before the end” by Xdinary Heroes

“TRIGGER” by The Boyz

“Cool My Head” by OMEGA X

Best Music Videos By A Solo Artist

After a seven-year hiatus, G-DRAGON is back with a new pre-release “POWER.” In this one-take music video, G-DRAGON pays homage to his past work including one of his most popular works “Crayon.”  Although it’s the artist's first music video since 2017, it still embodies the classic G-DRAGON style. It's chaotic, bright, and even showcases G-DRAGON’s fashion style. The final setting of the video includes metro maps with a list of eight stops, titled after the eight tracks on G-DRAGON’s long-anticipated upcoming album. The names are also graffitied all over the inside of the train, an easter egg for keen-eyed fans to pick out.

“33” by LEECHANGSUB is split into three parts: 2004, 2014, and 2024. This storyline-driven music video tells the story of a girl who tirelessly studies and a boy who wants to win a skateboard championship. It shows the two friends growing up and living life as adults as they go through the stress of chasing their dreams. This song is one of two title tracks off of LEECHANGSUB’s first album 1991, named after his birth year.

If Jaehyun didn’t already sweep you off your feet with his debut album J, he’s back with another single “Unconditional” and this time he’s blonde. The video, filmed in Los Angeles features hearts, roses, lemons, and a talking chicken.

Rosé teamed up with American singer Bruno Mars in preparation for her debut solo album Rosie. This track, “APT.” is based on a popular Korean drinking game and the video even features Bruno Mars waving a South Korean flag. Both the song and video have a 2000’s pop punk vibe with the two showing off their chemistry wearing matching jackets and rocking out together.
