So Many Questions

For this week's B-sides, we are letting the songs ask the questions. From solo artists and bands, each of the following tracks has a question for its title. Maybe you know the answer to these questions or maybe you can find the answers when listening to each of the songs. Give them a listen and find out!

“What You Doing?” - ONEUS

ONEUS ask "What You Doing?" in their first full-length album DEVIL. This track delivers sensual funk and groove with a bass-heavy backtrack that the members' vocals effortlessly glide over. Through the instrumentation, "What You Doing?" perfectly combines nostalgia and modernity, with a sound fitting for your next K-Pop party or disco. From the vocals to the raps to the bass and all of the other intricate backtrack sounds, “What You Doing?” is a track all K-Pop fans can fall in love with.

“ㅈ ㅅ (Pardon?)” - N.Flying

In their sixth mini-album YAHO, N.Flying asks "ㅈ ㅅ (Pardon?)" with this upbeat and cheerful track. Elements of the melody and composition in “ㅈ ㅅ (Pardon?)” feel reminiscent of music of the ‘60s and ‘70s (particularly the guitar and drum beats) whilst Seunghyub and Hweseung's vocals emphasize the fun, youthful sounds of noughties pop-rock, together creating an addictive track that you want to play on repeat. Adding to its nostalgia, “ㅈ ㅅ (Pardon?)” also carries a strong Britpop feel in the verses that I can imagine listeners of all ages would enjoy.

“Why don’t you see a movie?” - HA SUNGWOON

Ha Sungwoon asks "Why don’t you see a movie?" in his fifth mini-album Select Shop. His smooth vocals glide over the track's instrumentation, creating a peaceful and calming listening experience that feels warm and dreamy on the ears. When wanting to unwind and relax, “Why don't you see a movie?” is the perfect track to listen to to get you into that tranquil state.
