MIRAE STEALS THE HEART OF THE ARCHIPELAGO FOR VALENTINE'S DAY TOUR AND FIRST JAPANESE MINI-ALBUM: RUNNING UP

Composed of seven members: Junhyuk, Lien, Dohyun, Khael, Dongpyo, Siyoung, and Yubin, MIRAE made their debut on March 17, 2021 with their first EP, KILLA. Three years later, the boys flew to the "Land of the Rising Sun" to show their attachment to their Japanese fans. In fact, on January 16, 2024, MIRAE announced that for the first time, the group would release a first mini-album entirely composed of Japanese songs. The lyrics were translated and written by Lien, a Japanese member of the group. This mini-album was released on February 14, when they were on tour in Japan!

미래소년 MIRAE – RUNNING UP - TRACKLIST

1. “Marvelous” (Japanese version)

2. “RUNNING UP” *Title

3. “JUMP!” (Japanese version)

4. “KILLA” (Japanese version)

5. “Dear My Friend” (Japanese version)

On January 16, MIRAE revealed via their official channel their Japan debut on a national tour: MIRAE 1st CONCERT TOUR [RUNNING UP] in JAPAN 2024. The seven boys plan to visit six local cities, starting with Sapporo on February 10, followed by Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sendai, and Tokyo.

With their musical performances and their casual sporty trendy look, MIRAE was able to charm their audience. Titles like “KILLA” (2021), “Splash” (2021), “Marvelous” (2022), or “JUMP!” (2023) allowed them to earn the title of “Future of the fourth Generation.” This mini-album RUNNING UP includes six tracks which covers three of these hits in the Japanese version. Much to the audience's disappointment, "Splash" didn’t make the tracklist. Nonetheless, the title track “RUNNING UP” features a blend of modern pop and electro-alternative rock styles that proves very appealing. This song talks about the greatest anxiety of today's generation: the future. With a dynamic choreography, the seven members show rising energy and reveal youthful emotions.

To commemorate the release of this special album, MIRAE held a signing session on release day on February 14 at Tower Records, Japan's largest record store in Shibuya.
