NOMAD IS HERE, “NO PRESSURE” THE GROUP BEGINS THEIR JOURNEY WITH THEIR 1ST EP
NOMAD is a group of 5 boys that includes DOY (the leader), Sangha, ONE, RIVR, and Junho. The group’s name is a combination of the word nomad and the acronym "Need Our Microphone And Dances," which reflects their desire and determination to get on stage to sing and dance.
For this first EP released on February 28, NOMAD doesn’t follow traditional distribution codes. Stepping off the beaten track and taking a different trajectory, the group is attracting attention. Indeed, the members decided to pre-release the songs from their debut album with the exception of the double title song "No pressure" and "California love" before their official debut. This was an effective way to showcase the boys through their talent while saving the best for last with the double title song. They demonstrate their self confidence and their performances little by little revealing their musical universe.
On December 27, 2023, NOMAD released their first single “Lights On.” Faced with the very good reception from the public, a global fandom was formed under the name BASE. As NOMAD's "base camp," fans will also point out the direction the five NOMADs will take. Also representing the sixth member of the group, it's together that they hope to achieve their goals.

Concerning the production team, here too there is reason to have confidence since NOMAD features professionals such as DK (who produced EXO or SEVENTEEN), Jayla Gibson who has worked for superstars like Usher, Jennifer Lopez, BTS, or Ariana Grande, and Cha Cha Malone again. DOY was also heavily involved in the writing and composition of all the songs on the album. This album can therefore touch several generations and invite them to love together.
ON THE WAY TO SUCCESS
On March 1, NOMAD appeared on KBS's Music Bank show to perform their title track "No pressure." A bit like a nomad who is supposed to feel welcomed and at home everywhere, the group takes to the stage at ease. As in their song, the lyrics “I'll use this pressing, Because I believe in myself,” it is with confidence that they offer a very good stage performance. From the production team, as you might expect, “No pressure” is a style that combines traditional R&B with more modern melodic punch lines. As for “California love,” it presents a more urban and acoustic genre. It's under the Californian sun that the boys seem to follow a lighter flow reflecting the happy days of youth under the sign of first loves.
