Bang Yongguk Refreshes The Soul with 3

The deep-voiced, sultry soloist and leader of veteran group, B.A.P, is back yet again, giving fans a new and refreshing album! Titled 3, Bang Yongguk returns with five brand new tracks, just in time for his latest world tour that kicks off in April! If you have been a fan of Bang Yongguk for quite some time, you know that his usual style of music is dark, moody and mysterious, yet sexy and sultry; however, 3, offers up a different style that we don’t often get to see with Bang Yongguk. While still very much a rap album, we get a different and refreshing take that is sure to take you on a ride.</deck>

Bang Yongguk is going all out when it comes to this latest comeback, treating fans to music videos for all tracks off the album; these all accompany the mood and vibe of each song. Perhaps the biggest surprise that gives this refreshing take from Bang Yongguk is that songs like “MOVIMIENTO,” “NUMB,” and “BAD” lean more to the dance/club/pop genre. You can’t help but dance along with these types of songs, which is such a different sound and feel from Bang Yongguk as I've mentioned before,  he's more known for a gritty, harder hip-hop sound that’s more dark. Especially with a song like “BAD” (featuring soloist YOUHA) one would definitely be taken for a loop to hear a pop/rock-type of song about heartbreak coming from Bang Yongguk (unless you’re familiar with his work while active with B.A.P).

But if you’re missing that darker, sultrier R&B/hip-hop-style and sound from the soloist, “BUSS IT DOWN” and “IXLU” are the perfect songs for you. If you’re not wanting to watch all of the music videos individually, Bang Yongguk has released a lengthier video that contains all full-length music videos for the songs for you to enjoy. As well as the behind the scenes while on set, he shows the production of each music video and you follow him on set. 3 is definitely an album that will get you moving and grooving along and it’s a great edition to the growing discography for Bang Yongguk. It’ll be great to hear and see the crowd jumping up and down with Bang Yongguk as he embarks on his tour this spring.
