Throwback Thursday: STUDIO CHOOM Edition Part 1
Something that we fans look forward to during comeback time is the performance videos we get with it. One such type of video is a 4K, crystal-clear, bright, and colorful video from STUDIO CHOOM. STUDIO CHOOM is a YouTube channel that produces high-quality videos of K-Pop groups performing their latest release. So, today let us take it back and talk about our favorite STUDIO CHOOM videos that highlight our favorite idols.
ATEEZ - “Answer”
On January 11, 2020, KQ Entertainment boy group ATEEZ appeared on the STUDIO CHOOM channel to perform their masterpiece of a release “Answer.” Everything about this comeback is beautiful and this video is the icing on the cake. The members Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho are seen in the video giving their all. The coordinating black, white, and gray outfits and bright colorful background create a seamless video many love watching. Watching the members tell a story through the full choreography is mesmerizing and adds to the characteristics that make this a masterpiece.
ITZY - “WANNABE”
On March 14, 2020, JYP Entertainment girl group ITZY’s “WANNABE” was released on the STUIDO CHOOM channel. “WANNABE” is an upbeat dance track that had people hooked from the first listen. In the STUDIO CHOOM video, the members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna are seen in coordinating black and white outfits that each fit their own personalities. The choreography is addictive and people have been doing covers ever since. The bright color-changing background and fun vibe create a video that will always remain iconic.
GOT7 - “POISON”
Former JYP Entertainment boy group GOT7, consisting of JAY B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Bambam, and Yugyeom,appeared on the STUDIO CHOOM channel on April 25, 2020. This era of GOT7 is I.C.O.N.I.C. This B-side is known amongst all and is the R&B classic that GOT7 is known for. The striking difference in shades of blue on the members' suits and the color-changing background makes for a gorgeous video. The incorporation of the door into the choreography is something different in K-Pop dances and creates a dance we will never forget.
