&TEAM Begins a New Story with Their New Release “Samidare”

Six months after their first full album First Howling: NOW, &TEAM released their first single “Samidare” on May 8, starting a new story.

During the showcase to commemorate the release of their new album organized on May 7 in Tokyo, the nine members shared their new ambitions. Determined to start a new series, they spoke out stating that this song was more meaningful to them. It was through understanding their differences and conflicts that the group strengthened their bond and became stronger.

The music video for the title song “Samidare” honestly expresses the differences and evolution of the group. The story highlights the teamwork and growth of the members focusing their efforts in the same direction. After a slow start, the audience is plunged into the heart of the conflicting emotions of the protagonists, ending up exploding into a quarrel before ending with a peaceful atmosphere. This evolution is revealed by a refreshing spring visual aesthetic where rain transforms into petals. A story that expresses their experiences through their own experience, hearing, cohabitation, and the discovery of each other's personalities.

This new series will take place in four seasons of which “Samidare” represents the first chapter. This new album also includes the tracks “Scar to Scar” and “Maybe,” for a total of three songs. J-Pop hitmaker YUUKI SANO participated in the production of this version for the first time as well as Lindgren and Melanie Fontana who both worked on BTS's “Boy With Luv.”
