D.O. is Back With Breathtaking New Release
D.O. is back and has given us a breathtaking mini-album that is perfect for Spring. D.O. is a skillful vocalist from the group EXO, and recently, he has started his own company called Company SooSoo. With this being his first release under his company, many were excited about the mini-album and what it was going to sound like. There are six songs in total on the mini-album.

The title track “Mars” is an upbeat Spring feel good that makes you move your head to the beat. The song is beautiful and D.O.’s vocals are soothing. “Mars” is a pop track that has D.O.’s R&B, soulful vocals. The story is about a D.O. and his partner having a long-distance relationship. In the song, he talks about being on Mars and taking a flight just to reach this person. He talks about how he hopes they aren’t different when they meet. The lyrics are powerful and personal and make you feel the love.
The music video is beautiful and shows such bright colors. The flowers and bright skies create a peaceful aura that connects with the song. In the video, you see him trying to communicate with his partner. His acting skills were shown in this video, making you feel like you are watching a movie. He uses flowers to spell out the message, and will definitely be one of the most gorgeous videos.
The rest of the mini-album is magnificent. The B-sides “Simple Joy,” “Popcorn,” “Good Night,” “My Dear,” and “About Time” are storytelling tracks that talk about love. D.O. is a fantastic singer and this mini-album is a joy to listen to.
