Korean Celebrities Dominate Paris and Milan Fashion Week This Summer

This summer, the world's fashion capitals, Paris and Milan, witnessed a spectacular takeover by Korean celebrities, making an indelible mark on the global fashion scene.

In the last couple of weeks, Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks witnessed an unprecedented wave of Korean celebrity influence, as K-Pop idols and actors graced the runways and front rows of some of the world's most prestigious fashion houses. Their presence not only highlighted the global appeal of Korean pop culture, but also cemented South Korea’s significant influence on the fashion industry.

Tomorrow X Together, Cha Eunwoo, and Jisoo for Dior

In Paris, the iconic House of Dior showcased its latest collection, featuring K-Pop sensation Tomorrow X Together (TXT) and Cha Eunwoo. These K-Pop stars and actors brought a fresh, youthful energy that resonated with the brand's sophisticated aesthetic. The TXT members and Cha Eunwoo added a dynamic flair, embodying the spirit of modernity that Dior aims to represent. 

BamBam, Jackson Wang, Yuta, The8, and Gong Yoo for Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton’s show was another highlight, with a star-studded lineup including GOT7’s BamBam and Jackson, NCT’s Yuta, SEVENTEEN’s The8, and acclaimed actor Gong Yoo. Their presence underscored the brand's international appeal and mature elegance. Each of these stars brought their unique style to the event, with BamBam and Jackson exuding cool confidence, while Yuta, The8, and Gong Yoo showcased a blend of elegance and charisma.

HongJoong for Commes De Carcons

Adding to the excitement of Fashion Week, Hongjoong made a memorable appearance for Commes Des Garcons. His unique style and bold fashion choices perfectly aligned with the brand's innovative and unconventional designs. Hongjoong's appearance was a testament to his versatility and fashion-forward style.

Sunwoo for Amiri and Key for Juun.J

Sunwoo’s collaboration with Amiri was another standout moment. His edgy yet refined look captured the essence of Amiri's aesthetic, making a significant impact on the runway. Similarly, SHINee’s Key brought his distinctive flair to Juun.J's show, blending high fashion with his unique, trendsetting style.

Vernon and WinWin for Kenzo

In Paris, SEVENTEEN’s Vernon and WayV's WinWin joined the Kenzo show, adding to the brand's vibrant and eclectic vibe. Their presence highlighted the seamless fusion of Eastern and Western fashion influences, resonating well with Kenzo's diverse audience. 

Milan Takes the Spotlight

Over in Milan, the fashion festivities continued with notable appearances from several Korean stars. NCT's Doyoung walked for Dolce & Gabbana, bringing a touch of sophistication and modern elegance to the show. NCT's Jungwoo represented TOD's, exuding charm and poise.

Sana, Byeon Wooseok, and Jaehyun graced Prada’s show, each bringing their unique presence and style, which complemented Prada's innovative and chic designs. Jihyo also made a significant appearance for AMI, showcasing a perfect blend of contemporary style and timeless elegance.

The following week, ATEEZ’s San turned heads at Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda fashion event, where he wore a sculptural piece from the designer’s “SanPuglia 2023: Alta Sartoria '' collection. This marked San’s debut at Fashion Week.

The overwhelming presence of Korean celebrities at Fashion Week not only highlights the growing influence of K-Pop and Korean culture worldwide, but also underscores the seamless integration of diverse styles and global fashion narratives. This summer's fashion weeks have indeed been a celebration of style, talent, and cultural fusion, with Korean stars leading the charge.
