NCT Dream’s “Rains in Heaven” Is A Stunning Release

It is great to hear from NCT Dream again. After their stellar EP, DREAM( )SCAPE, and Japanese release, NCT Dream is back with an English release. The track is beautiful and different from the music we are used to from the unit. This track is simpler, giving us a song that we can lay back and relax to, but knowing many fans there’s no way you can relax to an NCT song. You just have to sing along. 

In the song, you can hear the members gracefully singing. Their vocals are soft but carry so much emotion behind them. While listening to the track you can’t help but notice how delicate the members are when it comes to the execution of the lyrics. With how deep the lyrics are there was only a certain way they can be portrayed. That’s soft and filled with love, and the members did exactly that. Even the rappers filled their parts with emotion. It felt like you were listening to a tragic love story. With lyrics like, “We are all the same, but hurt different,” and “I heard when you cry, it rains in heaven,” you can’t help but clutch at your heart.

In the video, the members pull out their best acting skills. There are scenes with them in the rain, walking around a field, and abandoned buildings. There is one scene of members Jeno, and Jaemin in the rain screaming. It’s powerful and connected with the lyrics of the song. The track is groovy. You can tell by the way the members bust a move in the video. The smooth, but still has those moments when the movements are isolated and striking. It’s a magnificent video, that matches the aura of the track. 

Everyone should check out the new NCT Dream release. It’s a beautiful song, with a powerful message. It is great to see all of the members together again, and this is a great English release that will be added to our playlists.
