Throwback Thursday: September Debuts Part 2

With the coming of a new month, you know exactly what we have to do: September debuts! This is going to be part two of the September debuts. In the first part, we talked about some of our favorite groups that had their big breaks during this month. Now that we are in a new year it’s time to revisit and talk about some more groups who did their big one this month.

UP10TION - “So, Dangerous”

On September 10, 2015, T.O.P. Media’s boy group UP10TION made their big debut. The members Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bit-to, Sunyoul, Gyujin, Hwanhee, Xiao, and former members Jinhoo, Wei (now known as Jinhyuk), and Wooshin (now known as Wooseok) all came together to make a debut song that put them on the map. Their debut track, “So, Dangerous,”  is hard-hitting, and the members held nothing back. Upon first listen, this track instantly became a new on-repeat favorite.“So dangerous, No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, now” has been on a loop in my head all day. It’s an addictive song with a striking beat that makes you dance. It’s great to see UP10TION in the beginning and watch how they have progressed throughout time. They are a well-known group with great songs and have been powerful since the beginning.

Oh!GG - “Lil Touch”

On September 5, 2018, SM Entertainment’s mega girl group Girls’ Generation made a sub-unit named Girls' Generation-Oh!GG. This group featured members Taeyeon, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Yoona, and gave us a song we will never forget. 2018 is already such a great year for K-Pop, and these girls gave us a certified girl boss track. The track is groovy and has this synth beat to it that makes you dance. “Lil Touch” is addictive all the way through. The lyrics will have you instantly start singing along, and the choreography will immediately make you want to learn it. While this may only be a sub-unit song, we will hold it near and dear to our hearts. We would love to hear from them again; however, for the time being, we will party to this banger.
