Dreamy, Magical B-Sides by TXT

Three weeks ago, I saw TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) perform their first ever UK show at London's famous The O2 arena. Still suffering from post-concert blues, I thought I would share some of my favorite TXT B-sides that take me back to the show as us UK MOA’s wait in high anticipation for them to come back.
“FAREWELL, NEVERLAND”
From their fifth EP, The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, TXT delivers a dreamy rock-pop arrangement with its closing track "FAREWELL, NEVERLAND." "FAREWELL, NEVERLAND" carries a hypnotic vibe that takes you through a whirlwind of emotions—calm, haunted, sad, soothed—just from the melody and the arrangement, alone. Upon reading the lyrics, the sound perfectly matches the story shared through its words, with "FAREWELL, NEVERLAND" sharing a message about growing up and saying goodbye to our youth, as we transition into adulthood. Even without understanding Korean, this message transcends through the song's audio with the laid back yet intense emotion delivered via the acoustic guitar backtrack and the members' melodic vocals. This track swiftly became my all-time favorite TXT track that I could listen to on repeat all day, everyday, with the "ooh" adlibs being one of my favorite parts of the song.
“Dreamer”
From their third full-length album The Name Chapter: FREEFALL, “Dreamer” exudes stunning R&B excellence as TXT lend their dreamy, sensual vocals to the track. From beginning to end, the listener is guided into a calming, tranquil state led by each member's vocals that are both ethereal and dark. Listening to “Dreamer,” you never want to leave this enthralling musical space that TXT's captivating sound puts you in, especially with the “ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh” adlibs of the post-chorus, that are simultaneously comforting and chilling.
“Magic”
In their second full-length album The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, TXT delivers delightful pop sounds in its third track "Magic." Co-written by popular British pop singer Olly Murs, "Magic" is an all-English language track that many (including myself) may not actually realize is sung entirely in English on the initial listening. “Magic” carries a fun and youthful vibe that is also uplifting, immediately putting a smile upon the listener's face. Arguably, the "Everybody clap your hands / If you got a broken heart just take a chance" line adds the perfect ounce of pop cheesiness to the track with “Magic” being the perfect song to have on repeat when needing a musical pick-me-up.
